our 2014 Fun Shoot rocked!
Thank You!
We want to thank everyone who came out to make this year's fun shoot a big success. We had a great 3d course with about 130 shooters, tons of awesome items won through our Auctions and Raffles, some great BBQ & lots of FUN!
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and everyone who contributed by participating in this fundraiser, we were able to raise $6,000 to help us send 9 great kids on hunts this year!!! We couldn't do this without your support. Thank you!

2013 Annual Fun Shoot
The 2013 Fun Shoot was a huge success!
We had a great turn out and raised over $4,000 for our Youth Hunt Program! Our officers set up an amazing course with lots of fun targets. We tested our skills with the "running bear" and some trick shots. We had a BBQ lunch, several raffle drawings and a silent auction with tons of great prizes! We couldn't do this without help from our amazing sponsors, volunteers, and all of the shooters that came out to participate. We can't wait to do it all over again next September! Every year the City of Burnet hosts their Annual Kids' Day Out event. HCB is honored to be asked to participate!
It is a pleasure to get to introduce hundreds of kids of all ages to the sport of archery - many for the very first time! And it makes it even better when the same kids come back to give it a try year after year! |
